I found quite a list of TR-EN "study list" in the back of a dictionary, but it seems in the study list some words aren't translated quite as well as they could be.

If anyone has time to help go through the list and make recommendations for corrections it would be appreciated. I hope to export it to anki decks, etc. once it's cleaned up.

Here is the link to the google spreadsheet of words. There are four sheets: one each for adjectives, adverbs, nouns, and verbs.

I've encountered so many mistakes in the sheet. I don't recommend it.

Yeah, that's why I asked for people to comment and recommend corrections. It's from the back of a dictionary. I just took the list and copied it over as is. As I was doing so I noticed some...less than stellar translations, but there were too many to sort through on my own.

Since there are so many mistakes I don't believe that anyone would have time to fix them or recommend corrections. It just wouldn't make sense because there are A LOT of mistakes here. What I'd suggest is copy and paste this into Google translate and use the translations as you get from it. It will be much more accurate than this. Then I will try to make some recommendations for corrections on it.

Or I could use =googletranslate(A1,"TR",EN") in the spreadsheet. Thanks for reminding me it could do that. Now to sort through two questionably translated word lists.

I suggest you make your own list using Anki rather than taking someone elses list. That way you will be learning the vocab you need.

Some of the words are extremely uncommon, such as: mağrur and ilmi.

Some have extremely limited uses (very specific to certain contexts that a learner shouldn't worry about) like lehte, muteber, rizikolu.

And some have been given inaccurate or outright bizarre translations like: şıpsevdi = susceptible, sonraki = latter, tek = odd (this meaning is only true for mathematics).

This is not a very helpful list. Like orde90, I don't recommend it.

Thanks for pointing those 3 out. I'll add tek parça and reklamı geç to the list.
