Progress quiz not working, lost lingots

I tried doing the quiz and I got this error: "We're sorry. Duolingo is experiencing problems now. Please try this test again later."

So I tried again later and it did this again. So now I lost 50 lingots. Can I get those lingots back and can this problem be solved, please?

I suggest you fill a "Bug Report" form (with as much details as you can, cf. text in this form), those forms being read by staff. While they will not answer to it (well, up to some exceptions probably ;) ), because they can't answer to each one, they nevertheless use them (among other criterias) to prioritize their list of bugs to be fixed according to the number of Bug Report forms received for each bug.

Please see this older discussion and provide feedback there (in addition to submit the bug report).
Let's have all the discussions around this bug in this older ticket.

Thanks! I just saw that others posted similar posts on the troubleshooting. So I think the Duolingo team will look into it soon.

um... I don't know that you will get your lingots back. What I think happened was that the server crashed in your area. It happens all the time to everybody.

It seems to be happening to a lot of people (myself included) this afternoon, not sure if we'll get lingots back but hopefully the quiz will be fixed.

This seems to have happened to me too. My Lingots were accepted but I wasn't directed to the progress quiz!
