Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Looking for features in Russian?

In the German and the French learning pages, there is a blue bar at the top that contains Home, Words, Activity, Discussion, and Immersion. In the Russian page, it only contains Home, Activity, and Discussion. I like the Words feature so I can review without actually going through the whole review game and I can check up on my progress and whatnot. I first started the course in Beta, but now it's out of Beta and the feature is still not there. Are there any other languages out of Beta that this has happened to? Is it because I started the language in Beta so new features aren't loading? Are there plans to add it?

Any answers are appreciated! (I know I'm being rather finicky, I would just like to know what's up with it. The difference in alphabets makes me think it would be helpful to write down the words I've already learned and review them without going into the app r website.)

No, unfortunately, all of the languages that have hatched in the incubator in the past couple years or so, don't have immersion or a words tab.

These languages include Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Irish, and every course created after that.

I've heard that Duolingo isn't focusing so much on these features anymore, but newer ones, such as Duolingo for schools and other projects. Hope this helps :)

Aw, that's really disappointing. I liked that feature. Do you know if there's any talk of adding it in once they get their other projects up and going?
