Why is it "burası" and not "burada?"
It mostly has to do with semantics. "burada" is mainly used to describe at what place actions take place. There is no real action here. This is similar to saying "This place/Here is very hot in July," but this sounds a bit less natural in English :)
What about July here is very hot?!
I suppose it would be "Temmuz burada çok sıcak."
"Here is very hot in july" is not correct
Unfortunately, it does not work. I am not sure why, but most of the time with weather, you have to have "it" as a subject.
I think you have to put " IT " after the word HERE
Here it is very hot in july.
Gotta ask again - is this an active site? Or has Duolingo stopped supporting Turkish? The most recent replies by a moderator are 3 years old.
I’m asking the same question raised 5 months ago, “July is very hot here”. Why is this not correct.
July is very hot here is marked wrong.. Why?
