Hi Wesley! When I was a kid I loved "Turma da Mônica" comics, by Mauricio de Souza. They are still big in Brazil. Here, take a look:

If I could read French, I would read this in the original:

It's also hillarious in German, but it has to be a lot of work to get most of the puns across.

It doesn't like my home IP for some reason, I've managed to open it through a proxy, so it's fine.

Ahh, I still adore comics up to this day.

So here's a few of the ones I know of in various languages.

    alt Menino maluquinho

These are the ones I could just quickly remember, but the list goes on and on. My prefered ones are currently Japanese Manga, they beat all the others hands down (in my opinion).

I have a friend who had a book of those comics (or something similar at least) in Finnish! I would pick it up and pretend to know what it said being in "english" letters!

"Menino Maluquinho" is written and illustrated by the Brazilian artist Ziraldo :)

As far as I know they are all copyrighted, the only link that could be posted would be to an online store (if you plan to buy them).

Not an online comic, but I read a great French comic book called "Jolies Ténèbres" fairly recently. It's a strange combination of very cute and very unsettling, and is certainly not for everyone, but I think it was amazing.

I've been taking a look at these free online French comics:

    Coby Clebard: http://www.cobyclebard.ch/bandedessinee/

    xkcd: http://xkcd.lapin.org/index.php?number=1#strips

I find the Coby Clebard ones more interesting (although they get a bit rude at times o.O) .. I'm still a beginner at French, so I need to look up a lot of words, but hopefully someone else finds these interesting. =)
