While your translation, friend HamzaBashir1, is certainly correct, I suspect DL wanted a more literal translation, i.e., one that followed the words of the original more closely.

Sometimes a literal translation is demanded, sometimes a more free translation. I don't think this is by intent - it just needs incorporation of feedback so that both are accepted.

Entry is more like the process of entering...ie he was permitted entry into the apartment. Entrance sounds way better to me
