Skype Group Chat Scheduling
Knocksedan kindly set up a Skype group chat so that those of us who don't have easy access to Irish-speaking communities can use our Irish with one another. But it's tough to schedule a chat, announce it, and then round up enough people to participate. The last two group chats only had a couple participants each.
To find a time when it seems likely that users will be available, I've created a Doodle poll. For those who haven't used Doodle before: When you click the link, it'll take you to a table with one-hour windows listed out. Type in your name and click each time you're available.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Assuming I chose the right settings, the times you see should be automatically converted to your own time zone. I created the table in Dublin time, between 2 PM and 11 PM. If you're in Boston, you should be looking at a series of times that start at 9 AM and end at 6 PM. Californians should see 6 AM to 3 PM. Please let me know if the timezone doesn't work the way I said it would!!
Here's the link:
I don't see the Doodle poll itself as a commitment to show up; it's more to find a time when people are likely to be able to show up. The next step is deciding on a time, announcing it, and then actually securing commitments. But please only fill it out if you're actually interested in participating in a Skype group chat.
