Found a Spanish-learning TV series by BBC
I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but here it is, hope it helps someone. Note: This is is the Spanish Spoken in Spain so if there is a ce or ci in a word, the c is pronounced like th. The series is called Mi Vida Loca.
And here's one that's a little more advanced - it's called Destinos: An Introduction to Espanol
It's a little older, but it is quite useful.
Am I doing something wrong I followed the link and it said no longer available?
It says it's "no longer updated" (meaning there won't be any new content added), but it's still available to watch.
The Grand Hotel is on Netflix I don't even remember how many seasons long it was but my mom got so sucked into I'm surprised we aren't fluent in Spanish.
it's cool i watched it when i was starting out but to much english in it sometimes
I thought you were going to say Muzzy for a second, haha. (Muzzy is amazing; check out the original, though. So much better.)
Going to check this out - thank you for this resource!
Oh my gosh I did that course before duo lingo, my sister and I got so into the TVs series we didn't do any of the 'activities' after but whatever it was really fun! Only thing is that it barely improved my Spanish I learnt near nothing but it's good if ur in a trip to Spain as it covers all the basics u need to know to get along =D
Yeah I suppose it's for absolute beginners - great for kids. I had the old one on VHS when I was a kid - very nostalgic for me!
While I enjoyed the show, especially trying to speak phrases in less than a ghastly pronunciation. The test at the end did not go well, Partly because I can not hear words at the speed spoken no matter how loud or repeated.
So the major thing I realized was: I should go back through the tree using only the normal speed voice in Duolingo.
Maybe something will pop into place in my head.
