This is not a new technology. Something like this was proposed at least 5 years ago by a scientific research group at Oxford. However, they couldn't get enough funding to move past the prototype phase. According to their initial tests, it was shown that morning neck pain can reduce Actual Perceived Pillow Language-Learning Expectation (APPLE) by as much as 32.7%.
So, my question is: Will you be providing a memory foam option which will conform to the contours of my head and prevent neck pain? I want to make sure that I retain as much as I can.
@jitengore: Hard! :-S New scripts are my kryptonite...
(But then again, it was 6 am, and I was only mentally prepared for some quick Russian streak extending on my phone while cleaning my teeth in a communal bathroom, hurrying so not as to miss my flight... I'll have to redo those lessons with some added focus once the course is actually up and running! :-) )
No, you don't realise how important it is to have your spaghetti freshly harvested and served with newly caught haggis (they are very difficult to hunt as they can walk along very steep hillsides without falling off due to the fact that their legs are longer on one side than the other to compensate for the slope)
Ah yes, you've got to be careful with those haggishounds... they're as dangerous as the haggis themselves!
Just noticed for the first time... SPAGHETTI with haggis??!!!? You've blown your cover, my friend... No true Scot ever eats spaghetti with haggis. You're an English spy!!
Are you calling me a SCOTTISH SPY!! ..... I am feeling persecuted .... first Theron accuses me of being an English spy ... now you think I'm a Scottish one ..... whatever next ..... Surely it's obvious to anyone by now that I am of course spying on behalf of the Empire of Etc and Whatnot!! ....... Mind you ..... will the pillow, REALLY let me eat Haggis with my pasta or are you just getting my hopes up ?
Oh my God, I absolutely love this. Brilliant April Fools, guys. I love how it links you to the Duolingo homepage when you click to buy one of these pillows.
Is it a commentary on how some people try to sell products that are meant to teach you a language in your sleep? Well played.
Probably April Fool. That is not a prank. I bet you it doesn't work. It goes to home page.
