I'm learning German and will learn other languages for really only one reason; to be able to read books in those languages. I'm lagging behind right now because while I can read at the level I'm at well enough, I can't write at it. I keep missing the questions that have you translate English to German and it's frustrating since reading it is all I want to do anyway.

Is there a way to practice primarily reading and less writing?

I believe you can turn off speaking and listening exercises by turning off the microphone and speaker options in settings.

Thanks, I just noticed that and felt like a dummy so I changed the question a little.
