Just to clarify, is it safe to translate Venstre and Høyre into Liberal and Conservative party respectively (for English) or better to leave it in their original Norwegian names for immersion purposes? I understand FrP is referred to as the Progress Party and the KfP is the Christian People's Party.

Wikipedia matches their articles to Liberal Party and Conservative Party. Høyre's own website calls them the Conservative Party in English (I didn't check Venstre). I'd say you should translate.
