question about one sentence.
it is : In Tilburg is op diverse plekken al cameratoezicht aanwezig. Het in beeld vastleggen van incidenten tijdens uitgaansavonden werkt volgens Danny twee kanten op. what i do not understand is the second sentence which starts from "het is...", while the first sentence is only for providing the background information. why isn't the verb "werkt" in the second place of the sentence? and can someone translate this sentence to me? thanks in advance!
Hi there! "Werkt" is in fact in the second position. The subject of that sentence is all of "Het in beeld vastleggen van incidenten tijdens uitgaansavonden" (= the video taping of incidents during nights out).
thanks!!!! is there some implication that the sentence or words which describe the subject are counted as a part of the subject ?
