Turn checkpoints into mid-tree review spots.

Just an idea to make more options for reviewing material. Once a checkpoint is passed in the tree it could turn into a review spot that only contains the lessons in between checkpoints. This would get you away from the super basic lesson material you get when you do the 'strengthen skills' activity. Thoughts?

I think that sounds like a great Idea!

Basic lessons will fall under all checkpoints. Checkpoints covers all skills below them.

That is only somewhat true, they actually cover all the lessons from where you are currently at in the tree up to that checkpoint, not everything from the beginning. For example, right now one of my checkpoints say "Test out of 18 skills," I would assume only those 18 skills in between where I am in the tree and that checkpoint will be the subject matter of the exercises in the test and it will exclude everything below that that I have already completed. Regardless, this is unrelated to the fact that it may be handy, as I originally stated, if those checkpoints turned into review spots once reached that only contain the material in between that checkpoint and the one before. This would make more review opportunities that isolate certain parts of the tree to concentrate your studies.

That's true because you have covered some part of the course. If you start a new course and complete the third checkpoint successfully, it will mark all skills from beginning to that checkpoint complete. So if there are 10 skills before first checkpoint, another 10 before second, the second will say test out of 20 skills.

You're overthinking this.. what you say may be totally true but what this post is about is an idea for a new feature that would specifically create new opportunities for doing exercises that have a limited number of lessons to better concentrate the exercise. I know how the checkpoints work, I have suggested an idea for a new feature that seems to me would be very convenient for my studies.
