Memrise Course: Trees in German
Hello fellow Duolinguists. Have you ever thought to yourself: "Man! If I only knew how to say rowan in German."? Sure you have! And it must be your lucky day because I have created a Memrise course which teaches the German names of 27 trees common in Germany, such as maples, alders, firs and willows, none of which are to be found on the Duolingo course. Audio is included. Here's a little teaser:
So, are you interested in learning die Namen der häufigsten Bäume Deutschlands? If so, here's the link:
Thanks and have fun!
I've no doubt it will: many people have been pining to spruce up their arboreal vocabulary.
I love nature and know a lot about it in Swedish. It has been disturbing not knowing it in German. Now one of the gaps is closing - thank you! :)
Thanks! I am a woodworker also working on my German skills, so yes, I am very interested in learning the trees and the names of the woods that I work with. :)
Well, German learners may be interested since Duolingo doesn't cover names of trees so I thought I'd share it. If you're referring to the website itself, no it's not my intention to advertise Memrise (although I would recommend it for learning vocabulary).
