"Gyrraedd"

I have noticed that a lot of words that start with a c in my dictionary start with a g here, like gyraedd. I know its a mutation but in isolation why should this be?

It's another of the zombie words/phrases we deleted weeks ago but somehow the Duolingo system hasn't removed yet.

It's a personal decision of the course makers. It's not something I personally am a fan of since I think it would be better to just upfront teach mutations.
