Odd sentence, both in English and Spanish, unless a Spanish native speaker can confirm this is a very common sentence in that language. :P

Seems a laborious way of saying, "It is not difficult to identify the advantages"

Or, "Identifying the advantages is not hard."

Exactly how I tried to say it...DL says it is wrong, but it IS the least awkward way to say it in English.

"The advantages are obvious"?

"The identification of the benefits is not difficult" Why is this wrong benefits is a good translation of vantajas in spanishdict.com and even on DL drop down meanings

It's not a common sentence but it could be a possible one. Ex: a manager is trying to convince someone of doing some business. As a selling point he might say "mira, la identificación de las ventajas no es difícil" (look, finding this deal advantages is not difficult). Of course, there are more natural ways to say it in both languages!

Sentences such as this makes one worry that perhaps the Spanish is ridiculous as well.
