Why is it 'i'r ysgol'/to THE school here? Is it because it it a place the speaker goes to on a regular basis?

Since 'eisiau' doesn't use 'yn', can it not use 'wedi' either? Can you not say 'I have wanted'?

Am I right in thinking "I want to go to the ladder early" is technically correct?
