When is "att" required and when is it not when dealing with infinitives? I've seen answers both ways. What is the determing factor?

The English "you" can also be translated by "man" usually. Here it was thus reported as an error in the multiple choice. Mistake from me or duolingo?

I agree, it's "man" so both should be correct.

Man kan inte tvinga barnen att äta is an accepted answer. The multiple choice questions tend to have really tricky choices sometimes but they're automatically generated and we can't see what the wrong options are, so it's hard to say anything about them.
