The Keyboard? (SOLVED)
Is there a way to use a Russian Keyboard and switch from English to Russian easily rather than having to restart my computer just to use it. It isn't really nice for me to have to change languages everytime I restart my comp, any way to fix this?
I have tried downloading it via Control Centre and have the language pack, but for some reason I have to change between some and have to restart for it become a default. Is there anyway to change it mid-way so I don't have to do this?
What OS do you use? Windows has all keyboards included, so there is no need to download anything. I suppose it's a standard behavior in all major OSes.
Hm, I am trying. I am running on Windows 10 so the format is a bit different. I appreciate the help, if you have anything advice could appreciate it.
Here, take a lingot for your troubles.
I added the language it seems, I just don't know how to input it...Let me just try reinstall it.
Usually, default for switching languages is Alt+Shift or Ctrl+Shift. Also, there should be a language indicator near the clock. You can switch languages by clicking it with the mouse.
I have Windows 10 on a laptop, but it is a localized Russian version, so it doesn't make much sense to make a screenshot. Anyway, it is almost the same as in Windows 7.
I have a touchscreen laptop with Windows 8. I installed the Russian keyboard from the control panel. When I see ENG by the clock, the keyboard is English. When I click ENG, a menu pops up with ENG and PYC. If I click PYC, I get the Russian keyboard. I have a keyboard icon on the same bar with clock, sound volume etc. When I click the keyboard icon, a virtual keyboard pops up, with either Russian or English, depending on my choice. It is very handy, as I do not need to memorize the Russian keyboard to use my regular keyboard.
I have Windows 10 and the Windows key then space bar switches me between my Russian & English keyboards.
