Studying in Sweden
Hi! I'm from the UK and I'll be going into university in the next year, however I've always wanted to study or live in Sweden. The country is beautiful and I love their language. I'm looking for someone who has come from a different country to study in Sweden as it'd be nice to know a few things before I make my decision. For example, how expensive is it to live in Sweden? (Stockholm to be precise) What universities in Stockholm would you recommend?

Hey. As no one answered so far, here's a little suggestion:
A few days ago I posted a question about Sweden and had a nice chat with a girl currently living in Sweden. You can still find this conversation on my profile (just click on it and scroll down a bit), she said a few things about living expenses and so on. Maybe write to her and get more information!
What might interest you is, that as a EU citizen, you can apply to Swedish university tution free (I´m going to study in Sweden next year) and some of the programmes are still taking applications :). Good luck with your studies.
A lot of my expat friends from the US and the UK are studying degrees (in English) at Stockholm University.

I live in Sweden now as well (original from New Zealand) and while a lot of people say it's expensive here (especially in Stockholm), I think it's relative. NZ has quite similar costs to Sweden so it doesn't seem so expensive to me. But perhaps if you came from a cheaper country, it would seem expensive.
