iOS Widget Disappeared
Hi there. I just noticed that my Duolingo widget for iOS (in 'Notification Center') has disappeared from my iPhone. When I go to 'Edit' to add another widget, it's no longer listed as an option. I tried deleting/reinstalling the app, and resetting my phone...to no avail. Can anyone confirm whether this issue is something really weird with my phone, or perhaps Duolingo has recently removed the widget as a feature of the app? Thanks!!
Could you relocate this discussion in the “Troubleshooting" forum? Which is the place meant for such discussion. Thx!
To relocate it (please don’t create a new one), edit your original post then select the said forum in the drop-down menu on top-left of the edition area.
Have a look to this short guide to help you knowing where to post your (future) discussions on Duolingo’s forums.
Just checking on this again to see if anyone has info - I still am not able to use the widget for whatever reason. I have been using Duolingo but it still doesn't show up in my list of available iOS widgets.
I have exactly the same issue. I believe that Duolingo decided to eliminate the widget without notice it, neither the users nor the history changes of the iOS app. It is a pity. I liked to much, and I'm also waiting for an official confirmation of what happened :-(
Thanks for your response. Hopefully they'll let confirm for us whether or not the feature was pulled, and if so what the reason was behind it (it was definitely a feature I really liked!).
You are welcome. I am already quite dissapointed of its disappearance without any official notification :-( Let's see if in this subforum (Troubleshooting) somebody else makes more comments, but unfortunately it looks like that not many people is missing the widget as we do :-P
