Does Duolingo adapt to how you answer questions?

I'd like to know whether Duolingo adapts based on how much you get a certain question right. It doesn't seem to be that way at the moment.

I would like it if, when I get a question wrong, Duolingo increases the probability that the question will get asked, whereas if I get it right the probability is decreased (but not down to zero). That way I can learn more of what I need to.

That is a very good idea... +1 for that... Maybe built into it's question-asking algorithm.

I would like this, too.

I don't mean to resurrect a zombie post, but this algorithm still needs to be tweaked. I definitely agree with the OP and currently duolingo does not adapt enough in the lessons.
