Dewi is the Welsh form of David, Dewi Sant (Saint David) is the patron saint of Wales. Dewi Lingo is a play on words as it sounds similar to Duolingo.

Isn't Dafidd the Welsh form of David?

Dafydd, Dewi, Dai, Deio, Daf, etc are all names related to the English name David.

As ibisc said, there are many forms of David. Most languages have a few names corresponding with the same name in another language.

Great explanation. Thanks!

Is the pronunciation on the sound for "Helo" correct? My welsh friends say it more like "HA-luu" as opposed to "he-luh". Or is it a regional difference, I'm in North Wales

Huh, I thought Dewi was pronounced like "ow" (as in, I've hurt myself). I suppose it's more subtle than that.
