Similarities/differences between Spanish and Portuguese
I am fluent in Portuguese and at the moment am actively studying Spanish. It goes without saying that these two languages are very similar. Therefor I was wondering if there is a book written specifically for Portuguese-speakers focusing on the similarities and differences of these two languages.
If you are aware of such book and can recommend it, please, share :)
Thank you in advance!

Spanish is easier to write than Portuguese, the write Spanish is more similar to Italian than Portuguese.
The Portuguese like the Italian have extensive similarity to Spanish by the number of words that are the same and are pronounced alike. in this way for Spanish speakers it is more advisable if want to continue to learn languages starting with Portuguese or Italian. Although there are always differences in this case would accent, is not the same as the Portuguese to Italian accent, much less the Spanish which is the least remarkable of all. unless you're in Spain or Mexico.
This is is really now what I asked. I know the semantics of these language and peak all three of them at some level. I am looking for a book that would compare Portuguese and Spanish focusing on their similarities as well as differences (so called "false friends")
i will search a little about the book. As personal experience I started learning English and Portuguese simultaneously and I was fine. but in the end I decided to end the first and fluent English but the Portuguese turned me very very easy in terms of diction. That is why I stress for Spanish speakers is much much easier to learn to speak Portuguese than for other people. I hope I have helped! Beijos de Venezuela!.
What I will say is that I am easy whit the speaking Portuguese; But I have more difficult to write it than Spanish. The written Portuguese has many orthographic peculiarities.
