Stop polluting the discussion forum!

Please, DUO, could you create a children's corner where kids can dally away time and mess about in their own zone, somewhere far away from this serious discussion forum? I'm getting quite annoyed by all these kids' junk messages here.

Just give them a down vote and move on. If a discussion gets down voted enough it disappears from the list of discussions.

If you notice someone who is a repeat offender, or who is spamming the forums at a rapid rate, let a moderator know.

Same here. It's always the same thing! Discussions just saying hi, discussions with the name random stuff, and sometime i find discussions that are saying, like, i'm sorry username and talking about user name. This kind of thing is what the stream is for.

I think people should stop polluting the forums as well, but I don't know if the children's corner would help. I think kids would still mess around on the serious forum, thinking it's funny and they won't get caught. A lot of kids like fooling around on the Internet because they think that no one will find their identity and they won't get in trouble. To all the scammers, remember, you can be chosen to not get a job for something because of what you posted. Prove yourselves responsible. Keep this place clean!

Yes! I am annoyed by annoying 5 year olds spamming asking for lingots when it takes 3 minutes of effort to get a bunch of 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, they often post on the general Duolingo forum. So if you don't want to get general messages that don't quite related to the languages you learn, unsubscribe from the Duolingo in English.

They post in the French section too, so I cannot just ignore them.

There was one discussion that a guy introduced himself and cussed in pretty much every sentence. I down voted the discussion, and I hope it got taken out.

That might not be a good idea . It might keep them from saying something silly in the original forum , but they might miss out on something awesome . Everyone just has to follow the guidelines and keep to themselves , unless they are a moderator .

It might turn Duolingo into a chatting website, not a learning one. Anyway, I find it funny how much spam is on this post, since you're talking about getting rid of those spammers :) (Sorry, that wasn't very relevant)
