Sometimes I come to a few discussions and see everything voted down when I don't think that they should be down voted. Can duolingo make a limit (say, 5-15 or so per hour) as to how many down votes somebody can vote? But the up vote option can stay unlimited.
All opinions are welcome here.
And as always, all the people "against" downvoting have downvote bombed this thread. Sorry kids, but you aren't making the point you think you are making.
I use up-votes and down-votes to use what I think of what he/she said or if it has a good language reference. People asking for lingots and saying "hi." doesn't do anything. I down-vote. But don't say anything mean or hurtful. Look at my bio. Let the wisdom of your words encourage those around you.
I agree because some people might not evem understand what they read because of its language but downvote it anyway ('~')/
Um, are you guys noticing that a couple people have A LOT of downvotes in this discussion???? This is what we do't want, this is practically what this whole discussion is about.
It's the time until your day streak expires. You must meet your XP goal in the time remaining. For me, it's midnight in my time zone.
