Just an idea, what if there was a message popping up everytime you enter Duolingo (or maybe not a pop up) saying how many lessons or words have decayed the last time you were on Duolingo? That way, it'll help us be sure of how many lessons to practice in order to help keep our tree golden, and to help our memory improve, and not decay. Thanks :D
Maybe that could be included in the coach's little pep talk when you turn on the app. "You're on track today. Good job! X words have decayed. Go get 'em!"
I like this idea, maybe on your home page somewhere instead of a popup (since popups are evil) :D
Agreed. Finding out what decayed is a similar mentally motivating gamification effect as losing a heart
i love this idea, its amazing, duo lingo is such a good site and i will be on it every day, if you could add me as a friend i will folow you back
Du meinst, "Das ist eine gute Idee.", weil Idee feminin ist. Aber ich stimme mit Ihnen zu! :)
Unfortunately "kennen" is an irregular verb. The vowel changes. kennen, kannte, gekannt. So it should be: "Das kannte ich nicht, vielen Dank!" or even better "Das wusste ich nicht, vielen Dank!" Since kennen is only to know as in be acquainted with a person or thing, while wissen is to know and understand a concept. (wissen, wusste, gewusst)
