New Incubator Page

The initial incubator page (located here : http://incubator.duolingo.com/) has just been updated. One great addition is that there are now more language options on the incubator page. By that, I mean if you go to the page while your settings are set to Spanish, the incubator page will be in Spanish. For example, when you look at the English for Russian speakers course, you see: "Ingl├ęs: para hablantes de ruso".

Another great addition is that we can now see the amount of learners in beta courses! The French for Spanish speakers course has the most learners out of all the beta courses, with 33.5k learners. English for Russian comes in second with 6.70k. But, of course, I know that it's a bit unfair, since the Spanish side of the site already had lots of users. :) Check it out for yourselves!

EDIT: Another, more recent, addition, is that there are now estimated completion dates for courses in stage 1.

Yes, the beta user numbers suggest that the Portuguese/Spanish course will probably be a big success as well.

I agree however I think we must remember that because a course from spanish already exists the spanish speaking potential user base is already more familiar with duolingo and so it will pick up quicker than a course that in theory ventures into a new user base (eg Hungary) where there will not have been so much influence from duolingo before

Thanks for pointing that out. Before reading this, I just assumed it had always been like this because I just recently switched my OS and everything within it that I use to German.
