Need to add the Vietnamese keyboard for this course.

Please refer to the link below for keyboard instruction. https://incubator.duolingo.com/courses/vi/en/status

how do you switch your keyboard

Depends on your operating system. You'll have to Google what you just asked and add "windows" "mac" or "linux", then it'll tell you. Then find Vietnamese "Telex" keyboard on the list. Learn the table in https://incubator.duolingo.com/courses/vi/en/status

When would I use this? I'm a very beginner, so I'm not sure if this is a mistake or something I would actually use for some reason.

On another version of this same sentence, it has been indicated that there will be some sentences to introduce vocabulary, and these sentences don't necessarily make sense. So, from that, I'm opining that this sentence has no idiomatic usage, and is just a training sentence for new words.

Useful for when you are talking to your clone or future self, or when you look into a mirror and your reflection starts acting funny...

Or if you are discussing pantheism :)
