Is there a reason that this isnt "dw i eisiau sudd afel"? Are both valid or only the one presented?

It is just emphasising the 'apple' juice' element - 'I want apple juice (rather than orange juice, milk, beer...)'. Emphatic sentences are used much more in Welsh than in English.

'Apple juice is what I want' might convey the meaning better.
