Searching for Esperanto Poetry
I just saw someone mention Esperanto poetry, and how unique and beautiful it is. And a quick search showed... almost nothing! Does anyone have a good source for Esperanto poetry/music? I know the best way to keep learning a language is to fall in love with its culture.
Oh. My. Gosh. How did you know that this is my favorite song?! (Jupiter by Gustav Holst) They even played it on the radio today too. ^-^ Thank you!
I met an author/poet at an Esperanto event. He writes haikus, among other things. Here's a book of his poems: Premitaj Floroj by Steven D. Brewer. It is for sale on Amazon.
Also, here's a great place to find Esperanto music, in case you are interested: http://vinilkosmo-mp3.com/en/ . Vinilkosmo is an Esperanto record label. You can search by type of music and listen to pieces of songs. (I listen to Esperanto music every day on my way to work. Love it!)
Premitaj Floroj is so good that my 16 year old (who doesn't usually show an interest in poetry or even in written Esperanto) bought a copy! (True story.)
A lot of this author's stuff is online. Here's a random link that I found -- a good starting place.
