I just found out about, well, hidden discussions. By changing the number after topic in the address bar, there are many sections I had no idea about, including politics, flirting, one on the Spanish verb "Haber," etc.

Does anyone know how these are actually linked? Are they just buried somewhere or are they only accessible by changing the address manually?

If you mean changing this German discussion url: http://www.duolingo.com/topic/67

to

http://www.duolingo.com/topic/68

and getting Adjectives: Dative discussion

Each unit of your tree has a discussion. That's what it's linking to. Go to your dative adjective unit and compare... http://www.duolingo.com/skill/de/Adjectives:-Dative

Interesting. I never thought the discussions in the lessons could actually be separate linked pages. Thanks! :)

I actually went through the trouble a couple of weeks ago of bookmarking all these discussions (with applicable name, not topic/68) because I like to sort the discussions by new, and not just see issues people had a year ago (because those are usually the ones at the top).

to add: I think the only way to access these is manually. While to topics don't seem to be in order, once you find the 'first' one, you can just change the number until you get through all the discussions in your tree.
