I have completed my 4th tree!

Hello! It's the English tree for German speakers, I finished it in 3 days, it was great, one of the things I like about the course is: It lets me to write more German than English so I could practice my grammar.
I will keep practicing my German by reading the German newspaper, watching videos in German, doing German immersion, chatting with German speaking friends and doing duolingo!

My completed trees:

Next goal: German for Spanish speakers.
I am doing this one right now, it feels a little weird because I haven't written in Spanish a long time ago (It's my mother tongue, I mostly write things in English), when I have to translate something in that course, I feel like translating the German sentence to English within my brain and then writing it down in Spanish.

Oh, and I am Argentinean so I feel like: http://i.imgur.com/wCzWu83.png?1

Good luck with your language learning! Remember to have fun!

¡Buen trabajo, buena suerte en el árbol de alemán para hablantes de español! Happy learning and excellent work. I only conquered one tree so far (Spanish for English speakers) it's amazing that you got four done!

WOW. How many hours a day do you do?

April 27, 2016

https://www.duolingo.com/PolyglotCiro

It really depends on many things, when I was doing the German tree for English speakers, I was used to spend about 20 minutes per day, then when I had to do just 20 lessons to finish the tree, I spent about 2 hours, and I spent about 3 hours today with the English tree for German speakers.

So basically you've done two languages but five trees (one more to come)? lol thats great man! I have the english to spanish tree and vice versa, and am currently working on my french and german trees. Maybe I'll do something like you to get 12 trees! they would be ES, EF, EG, SE, SF, SG, FE, FS, FG, GE, GF, GS.

That's a great idea, doing the reverse tree to get even better in one language. I'm busy with my first tree so I'm curious then how to sign up for the next.

If you'd like to start a new tree (eg. Reverse tree), click on 'Add a new course' under the languages drop-down. Then, it will ask you to select the language you speak, and you can click on whichever language you want to do into English. Hope that helps!

Yeah, it is, if you want to get a course in other language you have to follow the following steps:
1: Click on ''Add a new course''
2: Click on ''I speak English'' and change it to the language you want!
