"My room does not have a carpet" should be also accepted as a translation.

"There isn't a carpet in this room" was declined. Is this sentence meant to imply that there is specifically no carpet in the room (like someone asked if there was one) rather than just that there doesn't happen to be one there?

Did anyone else start to write: "there is no blood in my room," or was that just me?

English: carpet There is no carpet.

Russian: ковер Нет ковра.

ковра should be in the genitive case, and an exception as well, right?

I got this as "write what you hear", and I can't hear the initial в in either the fast or slow versions. It's obviously ungrammatical without it, of course.
