Can someone explain why "to feed" is bwyta, but in this case, bwydo is used? Is is due to adding the 'r to make it "the dog"? I am super new to this....

I think 'bwyta' is 'to eat', ie to do it yourself, while 'bwydo' is 'to feed' someone or something else (or in this case, not to!)
