Translation:I'm going to America after retiring.
why is "after I retire" marked wrong, when that's clearly what's meant?
Not sure that's a good idea anymore..
Would "retirement" be a different word? (As it's not accepted)
Is "I go to America after retiring." wrong? Duolingo thinks so.
This whole lesson is a bit odd because it rejects arbitrarily correct responses such as 'after retiring' and 'after I retire' which are perfectly acceptable in English.
