Bananas are best when they are nâu.

  • And are bad when they are "đen"

Is this how you say the banana is not ripe in Vietnamese?

No, you would say, "chưa chìn"

or "xanh"

ps. **chưa chín

Why does the speaker not say không phải? I only hear không, am i missing hearing the word or is phải not needed with colors?

The speaker should be saying 'khong Co' which 'not have' I believe 'khong phai' is 'not correct/right'

'Qua' is wow isn't it?

Per the duo lingo dictionary “Qua” = through, over... and Qủa is a classifier for fruit. I couldn’t find “wow” in the DL dictionary but per Google translate wow is “ồ”.
Also played with Google translate for the different variations of “qua”
Qua = By

Qưa = Dear

Qúa = Too much

Qùa = Gifted

Qủa = Fruit

Qũa = File

Not sure if this helps but thought I would throw in my highly confused opinion, lol.

I think I must've mixed up the too much with other words thanks!

Why not "là không" ̣̣(is not) instead of "không có" (not have) ?
