Hello, dear community!
Some of you might be wondering why I titled this "I'm back!". Well, you will find the answer here
Many people said I should write a kind of blog about this long and beautiful journey. I won't do it, because I didn't finish my whole journey, but here is the answer:
I started my trip from Santiago (Chile) to Milan, I spent some days in Italy. After that I went to Switzerland, then France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and then Prague...
In theory, after Prague I was going all Eastern Europe, but I spent 1 week here and I said "I like this city, I really don't want to leave it". Then I extended my stay here and little by little I decided to live here. I looked for a job and I got it, I looked for a place where to live, and I got it... So yeah, I fell in love with Prague and I live here now. I have my ticket back to Chile on May 31st, but I won't go back.
Prague is such a beautiful city! Despite being the biggest and most crowded city in the Czech Republic, you can easily find places where to relax, here are many beautiful parks. I love that mixture between a city life and a "country-side" life. There is also the river, some islands; Just perfect!
This is my craziest decision in my life, but I am sure everything will be ok, even though I am starting from the very beginning, since I don't have any savings and everything will be new to me (people, culture, language).
So yeah, now that I could finally move, I will seriously start learning Czech, so if you speak it, please contact me and help me! :D
Dear community: We only live once, and if you have a dream, go for it with no hesitation, even if you think it's crazy... and you will see how beautiful life feels when you achieve your goals. I feel so happy here, even if I know almost no people, but this is the beginning of a whole change in my life!
So yeah, now that I have more free time, I will be using Duolingo again, so I'M BACK!
Great - I've heard from other people as well that Prague is lovely. Welcome back.
Oh wow, I hope you're very happy in your new life in Prague and welcome back to Duolingo :-)
Wow this is amazing! I had read your last post and I felt so inspired, although I'm not even close to go through the same things you are right now. I wish you good luck in your journey and I hope I'll be able to do the same one day :D
(I'm sorry for any mistake)
I remember reading your post about your plans awhile back. Sounds like you have had quite the journey! I love it when I read about people who travel the world like that. I would like to do that myself, but I don't think it would be possible for me.
Anyway, good luck with your new life in the Czech Republic and welcome back!
