does this sentence remind anyone else of, "We represent the Lollipop Guild"?!? (from WOO)

Could thị trấn also be translated as village?

No, "village" is equivalent to làng. You can refer this to know more about the administrative subdivisions of Vietnam.

Got it, thanks.

She's dressed up as a town? How can a person represent a characteristic of a place. Weird thing to say.

It doesn't say "dressed up as," it says "She represents the beauty of this town." Just like here in the States we have a Miss Dairy, Rose Festival Princess, Miss This and Miss That.

Isn't it the same thing?

Technical point: It seems pointless to repeat an exercise consecutively. I was just given an exercise which i got right, and 5 seconds later I am offered exactly the same exercise in a different form. Guess what? I remembered the English answer and just repeated it. I didn't even bother to read the whole Vietnamese sentence. I didn't learn anything except the English phrase which I will use again later.
