The spanish program hasn't worked at all for two days

At first, I noticed that the format was different and thought "Cool, I wonder what other changes have been made." However, the next thing I noticed was that the program no longer works for me. For example, when I click on 'Basics' and then click on one of the three lessons, all I get is a blank screen and audio of a woman saying a sentence in Spanish. Also bummed because, despite attempting to do a lesson yesterday, my 'days' streak disappeared.

I'm experiencing a similar problem in French. I used to use the Lesson Practice button, but that seems to have disappeared. And I'm getting blank practice screens when I do a basic skill.

I have the same problem. In my opinion the problem is the old version (Safari 5.0.6 with os X 10.5.8). I have tried with Spanish and Frensh lessons und lost 25 lingots because I wanted to do a certificate.

My big question is now: Could you solve the problem? I have this problem only since yesterday (since I saw the new web design). Luckily I can use Duolingo on the app.

My problem is only occasional, to write in Spanish for what is spoken in Spanish, and every now and then I hear nothing, which is annoying because I can be almost finished and then 3 of the same type of questions appear and I am sunk! I have to skip to move on, which loses me a heart. Sometimes I guess and twice I have guessed correctly which is amazing or another bug. I have tried sending an email using the contact us button but nothing happens when I click that button!! Everything else works perfectly so it is not my machine.

I just started and I am having the exact same issue. There is a woman saying a sentence in spanish and it won't do anything else. There is no change when I respond and hit enter.

I had the same problem with Safari 5.0.6. on a Mac 10.5.8. That was the first day of the upgrade. Now I can't log in at all; the page just refreshes to the Duolingo home page every time. I tried to download Firefox & Chrome but my old computer won't support them (but still works fine otherwise)! So I'm limited to my phone version.
