Graceful, idiomatic translations
I often see translations that are strictly correct but not really well-written. Sometimes, for instance, it would be better to break up a French sentence into two English sentences, or add a semicolon that is not present in the original. Is this permissible? Should the literal translation be given a thumbs-up if correct but clunky?
Make it idiomatic. If you need two sentences, use two. Insert semicolons as needed, etc...
