Duo just told me I can now read 23% of all Portuguese articles.....that's pretty "legal" and made me feel happy!

Where did you get that message? I'm level 10 (italian) and I haven't seen it yet :(

I started getting mine after a certain point in Spanish at the end of lessons in which new vocabulary is introduced (if I read the pattern right).

I would suggest doing another lesson and seeing since we are close to the same places on our trees and I have been seeing the messages for a while. :) You may have just overlooked it since it is the last slide after you finish a lesson.

Thank you!!! "You can now read 58.3% of all real Italian articles" Although I have the feeling that I can understand more than 80% because I already speak other romance languages :)

Apparently I can read 96% of Spanish articles, which seems completely false when I try to read one. :-) Maybe if I understood everything in the tree completely perfectly, it would be true.

Yes, my understanding is that it means "assuming you have committed everything thus far to heart, our wild guesstimate is X%".

I can see you're both "glass half full" types of guys....I understand it as: "you've answered enough questions, often enough for us to work out that"....
