A song partially written in a Turkic language won the Eurovision 2016
Yesterday, a Ukrainian singer Jamala with her song "1944" won the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. The song is written in English and Crimean Tatar, a Turkic language very close to the modern Turkish.
Bu şarkı hoşuma gitti! Tebrikler ve çok teşekkür ederim Jamala!
Not really. The song is literally called 1944 and is referring to the Deportation of the Crimean Tartars in that year (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deportation_of_the_Crimean_Tatars)
