I've seen both fremtid and framtid being used for "future", is there a difference between the two?

They're spelling variations of the same word.

"Fremtid" is the more moderate/conservative version, so it's the one you're most likely to see in formal texts, but they're both perfectly acceptable in any situation.

as always = som alltid
as usual = som vanlig

thank you in advance = på forhånd takk

Mark that you could say "takk på forhånd" as well, but "på forhånd takk" is the idiomatic expression.

Bare hyggelig! :)

I really like how the word "fremtid" is written : Frem (forward, ahead) + Tid (Time)

It's like a built-in definition.
