"His favourite singer is Ceri Lingo."
Translation:Ei hoff gantores yw Ceri Lingo.
why is "ceri lingo ydy ei hoff canwr" not correct? 1. construction of the sentence 2. Is 'Ceri' a woman's name?
Hmm, I don't feel like there's anything wrong with the sentence structure inherently, except you'd need to use "gantores" since "Ceri" is a girls name.
That is perfectly correct, the word order can be swapped and the meaning is the same. We just hadn't added it. That's done now. Ceri is both a male and female name, more of a male name in Welsh speaking Wales.
