Isn't a better translation "She DOESN'T HAVE time to sleep."?
I agree. This translation seems inconsistent.
She does not have time for sleeping # She does not have any time to sleep # She has no time to sleep : Cô ấy không có thời gian ngủ.
'ngủ' sounds like 'mu' above. I don't clearly hear the 'n', sounds more like a 'm'.
it's a /ŋ/ sound
How about 'có thời gian để ngủ'. Possible? E?qually good? Better?
Sino-Vietnamese word from 時間 (“time”).
"she doesn't have time for sleep" is "wrong"?
Why is my translation wrong? "She does not have the time to sleep."
I cannot even hear the 'có' anyone else?
We just learned the exact same sentence with two meanings. Is để not really needed?
