"Tôi sẽ học khi tháng chín kết thúc."

Translation:I will study when September ends.

May 21, 2016

I was gonna make that ‘wake me up when September ends’ joke but I got beaten to it... So I’ll stick with what I know best:

Derived from Chinese 結束

  • Mandarin: jiéshù
  • Cantonese: git3cuk1
  • Northern Sixian Hakka: kiet-suk

thanks NLL, really appreciate you helping us Chinese speakers along

Thức dậy tôi, khi tháng chín kết thúc...

Ah I love that song. "Wake" in Vietnamese has two different words, one for you waking up, one for someone else waking someone up. For waking someone up, you should use "gọi" + "targeted person/pronoun/name" + "dậy". So in this case: gọi tôi dậy (wake me up)

Wake me up when September ends - Hãy đánh thức tôi khi tháng 9 qua đi... ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ
