Readings:

課學 (this is not a Chinese-language compound, only the first character is given)

  • Mandarin: kè
  • Cantonese: fo3 (Nanning ko3)
  • Sixian/Taoyuan Hakka: kho

科學 (originally a Japanese Sinitic compound)

  • Mandarin: kēxué
  • Cantonese: fo1hok6
  • Hakka: khô-ho̍k

Eh. The lack of ability to play the audio word-by-word makes it a bit grating. Especially when -ay is pronounced like -e, and especially since it’s a dialect that doesn’t distinguish between tr- and ch- and between d-, r-, and gi- and between x- and s-.

Is "có" necessary in this sentence?

It's optional. But you should keep it to make the sentence more natural.

Nope, you can just say ''Bạn thích khóa học này không?''

It's emphasis. The same is possible (and optional) with all the yes/no questions.

Is "khóa học" the same thing as "môn"?

khóa học implies how you are taught. môn talks about what you study about
