A couple things I noticed from hearing my girlfriend doing the Italian Duolingo courses (I'm a native Italian speaker):
"Latta", in reference to cans of food or drink, ought to be "lattina". Latta is a more technical term more commonly referring to sheet metal or tin.
Also, the pronunciation assistance seems to pronounce most "voi" conjugations in the '-ere' incorrectly. I keep hearing it mispronounce "leggete" as "leggiate".
I'll keep my ears out for other errors. Hope I can be of some assistance, I taught Italian to undergrads for a couple of years.
