Shouldn't it be "We are sitting in the garden and ARE drinking juice"? The given solution sounds a bit off to me. But I'm also no native English speaker, so maybe it's right and just sounds wrong (to me) :D
Maybe it sounds a bit strange, but I think it's correct, especially if it was simply "We are sitting and drinking juice" I wouldn't have any doubts.
